Dr Sunil Kumar Joshi, President, Mrityunjay Mission, was honoured with the award:
Vaidya Shri Shivnath Sharma Ayurved Shodh Puraskar
for research in Ayurveda by the Gyan Kalyan Datavya Nyas, New Delhi, for the year 2011.
The award was given to Dr Joshi at a function in Doon University, Dehra Dun, by Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishant, Chief Minister, Uttarakhand and Prof. Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi, former Human Resource Development Minister, Govt of India, and Managing Trustee of the aforesaid Trust. Padmabhushan Vaidya Shri Devendra Triguna presided over the function.
